EMPA User Roles

• Normal User - Normal Users can administer the following allowed items on their own
telephones:
• Settings – Name to Display, Do Not Disturb On or Off, Feature Button assignments
• Call Forwarding – Setup call forwarding destination, timers, On/Off
• Station Speed Dial – Assign Station Speed Dialing
• System Speed Dialing – View only
• System Info – Display (View only) system Flexible Access Code and Advisory Massages
• Meeting – Meeting application configuration
• Messaging – Voice Mail setup
• User Guide – Display IPedge Telephone, Messaging, and Call Manager User Guide
• About – Display the Enterprise Manager software version an links to the EULA and OSS
Attribution list.
• Super User - A Super User can administer the following allowed items on their own
telephones and the allowed functions on the telephones in their 'other EMPA users' list.
• Settings – Same as Normal User
• Call Forwarding – Same as Normal User
• Station Speed Dial – Same as Normal User
• System Speed Dial – Same as Normal User
• System Info – Same as Normal User
• Account Code – Same as Normal User
• Meeting – Same as Normal User
• Messaging – Same as Normal User
• Preference – Same as Normal User
• User Guide – Same as Normal User
• About– Same as Normal User
• Change Directory Name Listing – Control over whether the user name appears in the system
Directory.
• Manage Other Account – When included, this User can administer the stations in the
'Manage Other' list.
The Super User can manage:
• The stations of all other types of EMPA Users
• Only the stations assigned by the System Administrator
• Only the features assigned in the Super User's own account
