Web Collaboration Features

• Video – Participants in web conferences can share video from the webcam on their PC.

• Web User Interface for Participants – enables participants to join a web conference from any
computer that is convenient at the time and does not – require a dedicated application to be
installed.
• Chat – enables participants to exchange text messages to the group or individually while in a
conference.
• Computer Screen Sharing – Sharing of a region from a primary or a second monitor.
• Waiting Room – Web conferences have a waiting room, where participants can wait until the
moderator joins.

Meeting Only Application Server

The Meeting application on the IPedge app-server platform is for IPedge 1.7 systems and Strata
CIX systems.
The Meeting Only Application Server is based on a Dell® 9020m server using IPedge 1.6.2.208
software. The Meeting Only Application Server is strictly for Meeting and does not support
IPedge Messaging, it cannot be upgraded to an IPedge system.
A Meeting server requires the server hardware and a software bundle. Order the server and one
software bundle per meeting user. The number of software bundle is the number of simultaneous
meeting users.
IPedge Meeting Application server capacity for IPedge are as follows:
Audio channels: 36; Video channels: 36; Web channels: 36
Conference Recording: 8 channels
The Meeting application connects to IPedge systems through SIP based extensions. One SIP port
is required for each audio port on the Meeting app-server.
