5.8.2.4 DDNS
The DDNS interface is shown as in Figure 5-24.
The DDNS is to set to connect to various servers so that you can access the system via a web address.
Please go to the corresponding service website to apply for a domain name and then access the system
via the domain. It works even your IP address has changed.
Please select a DDNS from the dropdown list (Multiple choices). Before you use this function, please
make sure your purchased device supports the current function.

Quick DDNS and Client-end Introduction
1) Background Introduction
The device IP is not fixed if you use ADSL to login the network. Most connections to the internet use
dynamic IPs that change. The DDNS function allows you to access the DVR via a registered domain
name. Besides the general DDNS, the quick DDNS works with the device from the manufacturer so that
it can add the extension function.
2) Function Introduction
The quick DDNS client has the same function as other DDNS client end. It uses the bonding of the
domain name and the IP address. Right now, the current DDNS server is for our own devices only. You
need to refresh the bonding relationship of the domain and the IP regularly. There is no user name,
password, or ID registration on the server. At the same time, each device has a default domain name

Function
You can select a DDNS protocol from the dropdown list and then
enable the DDNS function.
DDNS server IP address.
DDNS server port.
Your self-defined domain name.
The user name you input to log in the server.
The password you input to log in the server.
The device sends out an alive signal to the server regularly.
You can set the interval value between the device and DDNS
server here.
