Tighten the two toothed wheel screws.
TIGHTEN THE TWO SCREWS TO THE PRE-SET TORQUE IN ORDER TO AVOID ALIGNMENTS
THAT COULD SERIOUSLY DAMAGE THE ENGINE.
•
Measure the valve clearance and adjust it if required.
CAUTION
GREASE THE O-RING.
•
After replacing the O-ring, fit the tappet
cover to its position.
•
Working from both sides, tighten the
four screws of the two covers.
•
Position the cover of the camshaft
toothed wheel.
•
Tighten the two screws.

Removing the cylinder

•
The cylinder head should be removed
before removing the cylinder.
•
Remove the timing chain slider on the
exhaust side.
•
Undo and remove the screws fixing the
cooling system union.
•
Remove the cooling system union and
collect the circular gasket.
