Splitting the crankcase halves

•
Before removing the components,
place a container of suitable capacity
underneath the engine.
•
Remove the throttle body.
•
Remove the ignition spark plug.
•
Undo and remove the two screws; re-
move the secondary air pipe and col-
lect the metal gasket.
•
Remove the oil delivery pipe and col-
lect the O-Ring.
•
Release the clamp and remove the oil
reservoir flexible breather pipe.
•
Undo and remove the two screws; re-
move the oil pipe and collect the four
washers.
