Symptom

A fiber port installed with a transceiver module cannot operate correctly.

Solution

To resolve the problem:

Execute the display transceiver alarm interface command to examine the alarms present on
the transceiver module.
If input errors occur, verify that the peer port, fiber, and intermediate device are operating
correctly.
If output errors, current errors, or voltage errors occur, verify that the local port is operating
correctly.
