Auto ignitor battery change

If no ignition sparks can be heard or only at intervals of more
than one second, the battery must be replaced.
Always ensure that the heater is switched off before replac-
ing battery. Insert a new battery at beginning of every heating
season! Dispose of old battery properly!
Slide battery compartment cover upwards and replace bat-
tery. Pay attention to positive / negative. Close battery com-
partment again.

Always use temperature resistant (+70 °C), leakproof Mignon
batteries (LR 6, AA, AM 3) (part no. 30030-99200), other bat-
teries could cause malfunctions!

Cleaning

Only with the device switched off
It is advisable to remove dust that has collected at the heat
exchanger, the floor plate and the fan wheel of the Truma
warm air system at least once per year before the start of the
heating season. Carefully clean the fan wheel with a paint-
brush or small brush.

Disposal

Dispose of the device and battery in the auto ignitor sepa-
rately in accordance with the administrative regulations of
the relevant country of use. National regulations and laws
(in Germany, for example, the End-of-life Vehicle Regulation)
must be observed.
In other countries, the relevant regulations must be observed.
