$ Exposure Gounter
The exposure counter shows the number of frames in
position for exposure.
Besides the counter function, it also provides the
following functions:
o Display of the remaining time (10 sec.-00) while the
self-timer is operating;
o Display of the operation order in the "A.B.C." mode
(automatic exposure compensation for three
consecutive frames).
o Display of the end of the film.
€ Metering Mark
This mark indicates the metering mode and AE lock.
Center-weighted metering mode: The " E I " mark is
displayed.
Spot metering mode:The " E{l " mark is displayed.
Center-weighted metering and AE locked mode:
T h e " E I " m a r k b l i n k s .
Spot metering and AE locked mode:
The "o" mark blinks.
@ Exposure Gompensation Mark
When the exposure compensation dial is set anywhere
other than "0", the "compensating value" will blink.
G'Flash Mark
When using the TLA flash system for taking flash
pictures, the flash mark " f " will turn on as soon as the
flash is fully charged. lf your subject is correctly
exposed, it will blink two seconds after the flash has
fired.
OBack Focusing Scale
Back Focusing Scale shows the moving amount of the
movable body (see page 72).
@Focusing Mark
Focusing Mark shows the focusing state.
"O" (sharp focus): The subject is in sharp focus.
">" (rear focus): The focus is on the farther distance
than the subject.
"<" (front focus): The focus is on the shorter distance
than the subject.
"> <" (focusing impossible)
OAperture Value
In the aperture-priority auto exposure (Av)and manual
exposure (M) modes, the aperlure you have selected is
displayed in the vieMinder. In the shutter speed-
priority [v)and programmed auto exposure (P) modes,
the displayed aperture is the aperlure selected by the
camera in accordance with the shutter speed you have
selected.
@Exposure Mark
In the auto exposure mode ("Av", "Tv", or "P"), the over
"4" or under "v" mark indicating deviation from the
exposure control range will be displayed. In the "M" or
"X" modg, the correct " i " over "A", or under "v"
mark will be displayed.
(9Shutter Speed
The camera displays the shutter speeds from 1/6000
sec. to 32 sec. "6000" means 1/6000 sec. and "200"
means 1/200 sec., and "32"" means 32 sec.
