while operating mainly on manualfocus>
1 Set the F-Diat to "AF".

Set the focusing mode selector lever to ,,MF".

The movable body is set at the base position.
Q T.urn the lens' distance ring to focus and depress the
rJ shutter release all the wav.
o Caution is required because the movable body returns
to the base position and the focus shifts if you remove
your finger from the F-Button. lf you are shooting with
the self-timer, the movable body returns to the blse
position after shooting with the self-timer.
o When operating the autofocus with the F-Button
without changing the position of the distance rino while
working on manual focus, the autofocus is activated at
the shorter distance side than the position at which the
distance ring is set.
