The main switch turns the camera on or off and selects or
release the AE Lock.
o The main switch should be locked at a click oosition
when shooting to prevent it from shifting by mistake.
OFF: Red mark not visible
When the red mark is not visible, the main switch is set at
OFF, turning off the camera.
lf you are not using the camera, turn off the main switch
to prevent the shutter from tripping inadvedently.
"ON" mark
The camera is turned on.
Usually, set the main switch to ON.
"AEL" mark
The AE lock is useful for shooting in backlight or
continuous shooting of a moving subject at a fixed
exposure.
