In each drive mode, you can operate on autofocus as
follows:

Focusing is effected continuously
while you are operating on auto-
focus (the shutter release is de-
pressed halfway or the F-Button
is pressed). Single-frame
shooting.
a The lens may not focus when
you take pictures with the
Cable Switch L.
While the autofocus is operating
(the shutter release is depressed
halfway or the F-Button is
pressed), focusing is effected
continuously. lf you are shooting
in the continuous shooting
mode, pictures are taken conti-
nuously by focusing on each
frame from the next picture.
o lf you are shooting with the
Cable Switch L, priority is
given to the shutter tripping
opportunity on the first pic-
ture and, from the next
picture on, pictures are taken
continuously by focusing on
