Port Filtering
Port Filtering is an advanced security feature that can be used in a variety of
ways to block connections to your Access Point from the wired LAN. This
feature can also be used to block connections to specific ports by interface.
You might wish to block connections that you consider to be hostile or
untrustworthy. Alternatively, you may wish to block connections from both
interfaces (LAN and Wi-Fi) external to your network.
Enabling this function will allow you to control the type of Internet services
accessible from your network, such as Email, HTTP, NNTP, Telnet, and
