Basic Settings
Overview
There are two categories of basic settings for the Access Point 200 which
you may change to suit your networking needs.
Internet Address (TCP/IP) Settings
Wireless Settings
Internet Address (TCP/IP) Settings
Check with your system administrator to find out your static address
settings.
Access Point IP Address - a unique numeric value assigned to
your Access Point to identify it from other computers on the
Internet. It is similar to that of a telephone number assigned to your
telephone.
Access Point Subnet Mask - works with the IP Address to
indicate the logical location (Subnet) of a networked device, similar
to an area code that identifies the geographical region of a
telephone. If the IP Address was assigned to you by your network
administrator, this field must be populated with a Subnet Mask
value.
