IP Address (169.254.0.xxx where xxx is greater than 003, and a subnet
mask of 255.255.255.0):
For most Windows users:
1.
Start - Settings - Control Panel - Network and Dial-up
Connections
2.
Right click your Local Area Connection
3.
Scroll down to Properties
4.
Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
5.
Select "Use the following IP Address"
6.
Enter in your IP Address and Subnet Mask
7.
Click OK, click OK again.
8.
Restart your computer.
For most Macintosh users:
1.
Apple Menu - Control Panel - TCP/IP
2.
Select network card from the "Connect Via" pop-up menu
3.
Select "Manually" from the "Configure" pop-up menu
4.
Click Close, then Save.
