  • Page 16 ARCAM DV88 Progressive Scan Upgrade Instructions CAUTION THE ENCLOSED PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD IS STATIC SENSITIVE AND PRECAUTIONS MUST BE TAKEN TO ENSURE THAT IT IS NOT DAMAGED BY STATIC CHARGES. A PROPERLY GROUNDED WRIST STRAP IS RECOMMENDED. THIS PROCEDURE IS ONLY TO BE CARRIED OUT BY A SUITABLY QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN.
  • Page 17 Remove the vinyl blanking gasket that is stuck to the outside of the rear panel covering the holes for the progressive scan board. This blanking gasket is located above the SCART connector. If the player does not have a blanking gasket because there are no holes to cover, contact Arcam as you will need a new rear panel.
