9.1 Error code list

Error
Cause
F0001
Ø Motor power (P0307) is greater than VSD
Overcurrent
power (P0206)
Ø Motor lead short-circuit
Ø
Earth faults
F0002
Ø DC link voltage (r0026) exceeds trip level
Overvoltage
(P2172)
Ø Overvoltage can be caused either by too
high main supply voltage or if motor is in
regenerative mode
Ø
Regenerative mode can be caused by fast
ramp downs or if the motor is driven from
an active load
F0003
Ø Mains supply failed
Undervoltage
Ø
Shock load outside the specified limits
F0004
Ø Ventilation is inadequate
VSD overtem-
Ø Fan is inoperative
perature
Ø
Ambient temperature is too high.
F0005
Ø VSD is overloaded
VSD I2T
Ø Duty cycle is outside the tolerance
Ø
Motor power (P0307) exceeds the VSD
power (P0206)
F0011
Ø
Motor is overloaded
Motor overtem-
perature
F0012
Ø
Wire breakage of the VSD temperature
VSD temperature

signal lost
F0015
Ø Breakage or short-circuit of the motor
Motor tempera-
temperature sensor
ture
If a signal loss is detected, temperature moni-

toring switches to monitoring the thermic
motor image.
F0020
Ø One of the 3 phases for the mains supply
1 phase for mains
voltage is missing
supply missing
F0021
Ø Fault occurs if the sum of the phase cur-
Earth fault
rents is higher than 5 % of the nominal
VSD current

Diagnosis and troubleshooting
Check the following:
1. Motor power (P0307)
VSD power (P0206)
2. Cable length limits must not be exceeded
3. Motor cable and motor must not have short-circuits
or earth faults
4. Motor parameters must match the motor in use
5. Value of stator resistance (P0350) must be correct
6. Motor must not be obstructed or overloaded
Increase ramp-up time
Reduce boost level
Check the following:
1. Supply voltage must lie within the limits indicated
on the rating plate
2. DC link voltage controller must be enabled (P1240)
and parameterized correctly
3. Ramp-down time (P1121) must match the inertia of
load
4.
Required breaking power must lie within the speci-
fied limits
Check the following:
1. Supply voltage must lie within the limits indicated
on the rating plate
2.
Supply voltage must not be susceptible to tempo-
rary failures or voltage reductions outside tolerance
Check the following:
3. Fan must turn when the VSD is running
4. Pulse frequency must be set to a lower value
5. Ambient temperature could be higher than specified
for the VSD
Check the following:
1.
Load cycle must lie within the limits specified
2. Motor power (P0307)
VSD power (P0206)
Check the following: Make sure that the load duty
cycles (temporary overload) lie within the limits speci-
fied
Check wiring of the 3 phases at the supply voltage
input of the VSD
