8. You will then be shown the
connection screen. If you want to
establish the connection then click
Connect (enter the User Name and
Password) otherwise click Cancel.

To connect via the modem dial up
session at any time select the session
(eg XN120 via modem) from the list
within the Network Connections
screen. You will see the screen shown
below.
If you need to make a voice call to a
user at the remote site and ask to be
transferred to the modem's extension
number then enter a pause (by
entering a comma ",") for the the Dial
number and follow these steps:
a. Plug a phone into the same socket as your PC's modem.
b. With the Connect screen shown on your PC use the phone to place the call to the remote
XN120.
c. When your call is answered ask the user to transfer the call to the modem's extension
number. (You may need to instruct them to press HOLD + extn number + TRFR).
d. Click the Dial button after the user places your call on hold and then go on hook at the
phone.
9. When you select Connect you will see
the connection screen for a brief time
and then it will close.
12. You have now established comunication between your PC and the XN120 via the modem.
