    Unpack the Battery Box 1- Unpack the Battery Box The battery box is a universal part that can be used to provide battery backup for other NEC products therefore, there are parts supplied that are not required when used with the XN120.

    Connect the Battery Box to the XN120 4- Connect the Battery Box to the XN120 ! You must power off the system before the battery box is connected to the XN120 unit. Power off the XN120 system. You must also power off any expansion units if they are installed.

    ! If you switch off the XN120 unit whilst in battery back up mode it will not power back on until the mains power is supplied. The XN120 will not start up in battery back up mode.
