Section 8 The AWS Console & Logictivity

The AWS 900 Remote

Connecting to the Console
Double click on the AWS 900 Remote icon to run the software - see Section 3 for details of installation.
When the AWS 900 Remote first opens, it searches for a AWS 900 console to control. If it finds one, it will
automatically link to that console. This will be indicated by the
green
'AWS 900 Connected - AWS 900 SN
found.
If the Remote cannot find any AWS 900 consoles, or there is more than one AWS 900 connected to the network,
the status bar will display the message
If this happens, check your connections and press
®
the bottom left corner of the Remote window) to bring up the
AWS 900
pop-up.
If the Remote still cannot find any AWS 900 consoles, the
®
list in the pop-up will be empty. In this case, recheck the connections
and press the
Find AWS 900
and the Remote will rescan for consoles.
Once the Remote has found the console, it will appear in the
®
pop-up. Highlight the AWS 900 ID and then click on Select. If there is more than one AWS 900 showing in the list
select the one you wish to connect to.
Once a connection has been made to AWS 900, the green
will appear in the
Status
Once you have successfully connected to the console the Browser pages will become populated with the current
data stored on the console.
