You can register, edit or erase items in the address book, etc., in [Directory] menu.

Operating Instructions
Selection
Register email address and telephone number. These items can be used as
destinations for the following features. Make sure that address book editing on
web (feature #567) is set to "ENABLED" beforehand.
– Sending faxes (page 105)
– Sending Internet faxes (page 120)
– Scan to email address (page 80)
– Fax to email address (page 118)
– Error notify (page 132)

If you want to use the destination for the direct SMTP of Internet fax,
activate the direct SMTP setting (feature #425).

Start Multi-Function Station.
2.
[Device]
[Configuration Web Page]
3.
Type "root" as the user name, then enter the programming password
(feature #155).
[OK]
4.
Select [ADDRESS BOOK] from the menu.
5.
Click [Edit] next to the desired item you want to register or edit.
6.
Enter the name, email address, etc.
• If you want to use the email address for Internet fax, select [ON] from the
[EMAIL FAX] drop-down list. If you want to use the email address for direct
SMTP of Internet fax, also select [ON] from the [DIRECT SMTP] drop-
down list.

[Submit]

Close the web browser.
Note
• You can register or edit the destinations using the unit (page 62).
The pre-programmed destinations can be used for the following features. Make
sure that address book editing on web (feature #567) is set to "ENABLED"
beforehand.
– Broadcast transmission for fax (page 107)
– Broadcast transmission for Internet fax (page 121)

3.
Type "root" as the user name, then enter the programming password

Select [BROADCAST] from the menu.
5.
Click [List] next to the desired broadcast memory you want to program.
6.
Click [Address Book] next to the desired destination.
7.
Click the name that you want to send the received fax documents to.
• To select the other items, repeat steps 6 to 7 (up to 20 items).
8.
[Submit]
9.
Close the web browser.

• You can program destinations into broadcast memory using the unit
(page 64).
