4.2.5 Programming items into the broadcast memory

For touch panel models (
1.
Display "Address Book" screen (page 62).
2.
Select the desired item.
3.
Edit the name if necessary.
4.
Edit the telephone number

Change the email mode if necessary.
– "Scan": To use the email address for scan features.
– "Email Fax": To use the email address for Internet fax.
– "Direct SMTP": To use the email address for Direct SMTP.

Erasing a stored item
For 2-line LCD models (

Display "Address Book" screen (page 62).

Select the desired item.

4.2.5 Programming items into the broadcast memory
Store items into the unit to send the same document to multiple parties (broadcast feature). Your programmed
items will remain in the broadcast memory, allowing frequent re-use. You can program the items up to 20.
Programming items using the address book
1.

/MENU (repeatedly): "BROADCAST SETUP"
: Display "Broadcast" screen (page 62).
• Select Fax or Email Fax.

Select the desired broadcast memory location.
3.
Select the desired item.
• The number in brackets indicates the number of registered items.
• To program other items, repeat this step.
• If you have programmed the wrong item,

/STOP to erase the item.
: tap again to erase the item.

• To program another broadcast memory, repeat steps 2 to 4.
