4.3 Registering items in the address book through a web browser (LAN
supported models only) y
You can register, edit or erase items in the address book, etc., in [Directory] menu.

Programming the stored
items for broadcast
transmission (y)
Selection
Register email address and telephone number. These items can be used as
destinations for the following features. Make sure that address book editing on web
(feature #567) is set to "ENABLED" beforehand.
– Sending faxes (page 74)
– Scan to email address (page 57)
– Fax to email address (page 84)
– Error notify (page 93)
1. Start Multi-Function Station.
2. [Device] A [Configuration Web Page] A [Directory]
3. Type "root" as the user name, then enter the programming password (feature
#155). A [OK]
4. Select [ADDRESS BOOK] from the menu.
5. Click [Edit] next to the desired item you want to register or edit.
6. Enter the name, email address, etc.
7. [Submit]
8. Close the web browser.
Note:
R You can register or edit the destinations using the unit (page 47).
The pre-programmed destinations can be used for the following features.
– Broadcast transmission for fax (page 75)
1. Start Multi-Function Station.
2. [Device] A [Configuration Web Page] A [Directory]
3. Type "root" as the user name, then enter the programming password (feature
#155). A [OK]
4. Select [BROADCAST] from the menu.
5. Click [List] next to the desired broadcast memory you want to program.
6. Click [Address Book] next to the desired destination.
7. Click the name that you want to send the received fax documents to.
8. Select a desired destination.
R To select the other items, repeat steps 6 to 8 (up to 20 items).
9. [Submit]
10. Close the web browser.
