10. If the bar diameter and the autosize bar diameter correspond and you are satisfied that the
search head is directly over the reinforcement bar, either move on to the next bar or press [ ].

6.3 What happens when you press Enter [ ]

1. The cover reading is entered into the current statistical analysis.
2. If a batch is open, the reading is saved into a memory location.
The Covermeter will then advance (scroll) to the next memory location. When the last memory
location of a row in a grid
of the next row (Figure 13). When the final memory location in a grid or linear batch is filled,
the Covermeter closes the batch and exits batching.
Refer to "The BATCH softkey" on page 45 for information on how to navigate around a batch
and review, delete, overwrite and skip memory locations while you are taking readings.
3. The Covermeter will beep:
Model SH:
• Single beep - reading taken.
• Triple beep - reading taken in last memory location of the batch.

• Triple beep
(higher pitch) - reading taken is outside limits if limits have been set
(
MENU / SETUP / LIMITS).
Model TH:
• Single beep - reading taken.
• Double beep - reading taken in last memory location of a row in a grid.
• Triple beep - reading taken in last memory location of the grid.

• Triple beep
(higher pitch) - reading taken is outside limits if limits have been set

MENU / SETUP / LIMITS).
