JSTART FUNCTION
1. General
D While the ignition key must be inserted into the ignition key cylinder and turned from OFF to the START
position in order to start the THS II on models without the smart key system, models on which the smart
key system is installed start the THS II when the push-type power switch is pressed while the brake pedal
is depressed and a key is carried by the driver.
D This function has different power source control patterns to suit the state of the brake pedal and shift lever
position. For details, see page BE-94.
