4.3.3 Entering the start signal and multi-speed signal from outside and setting multiple
speeds from the parameter unit
Operation Procedure
Switch the power on.
Select the multi-speed signal required
for operation.Switch the RH, RM or RL
signal on.
Set the start switch (STF or STR signal)
to ON.
The operation command indication
changes to "STF" or "STR", the opera-
tion status indication changes to the
output (FWD or REV) indication, and
the motor starts running.
If the forward and reverse rotation
switches are both set to ON, the invert-
er will not start. Also, if these switches
are both set to ON during operation, the
motor is decelerated to a stop.

Operation Procedure
Change the multi-speed frequency dur-
ing running from the parameter unit.
When high speed has been selected
(RH signal ON), changing the Pr. 4
"Multi-speed setting (high speed)" val-
ue varies the speed.
The other multiple-speed settings not
being used may also be changed dur-
ing operation.
Switch off the multi-speed signal (RH,
RM or RL signal) and set the start
switch (STF or STR signal) to OFF.
The motor stops running.
