Combined Operation (Operation Using External Input Signals and PU)

4.3.1 Entering the start signal from outside and setting the running frequency from the PU
(Pr. 79 = 3)
The external frequency setting signals and the FWD-key and the
REV-key of the parameter unit are not accepted.
Stop with the STOP/RESET-key is valid when Pr. 75 "Reset se-
lection/disconnected PU detection/PU stop selection" = "14 to
17"
Operation Procedure
Switch the power on.
Set "3" in Pr. 79 "Operation mode se-
lection".
The external/PU combined operation
mode is selected and the operation
mode indication on the display changes
to "PU + E".
Set the running frequency.
Set the running frequency using direct
setting or step setting. (Refer to page
18).

Operation Procedure
Set the start switch (STF or STR) to
ON.
The operation command indication
changes to "STF" or "STR" and the op-
eration status indication changes to the
output (FWD or REV) indication.
If the forward and reverse rotation
switches are both set to ON, the invert-
er will not start. Also, if these switches
are both set to ON during operation, the
motor is decelerated to a stop.
Set the start switch (STF or STR) to
OFF.
The motor stops running.
