NGA2000 Reference
This is a reference manual for the NGA series of analyzers. It contains in depth discussion of the various
features and operational elements of the analyzers, together with information about their use with com-
puters. It is not intended to be a stand-alone document, but should be combined with the individual ana-
lyzer and platform manuals.
A major part of this manual is the description of the NGA variables. These are the names of the packets of
information that are communicated over the NGA digital communication network, and are available for ex-
ternal access. It is vital that no attempt be made to directly affect their values without a complete under-
standing of the results of doing so. Serious damage to the analyzers may result from incorrect
assignments.
The following definitions apply to DANGERS, WARNINGS, CAUTIONS and NOTES found throughout
this publication.
