5-9 CHASSIS
Remove the stopper ring.
Remove the oil seal by using the special tool.
Oil seal remover
CAUTION
The oil seal removed should be replaced with
a new one.
INSPECTION
DAMPER ROD RING
Inspect the damper rod ring for wear and damage.
INNER TUBE AND OUTER TUBE
Inspect the inner tube and outer tube sliding
surfaces for any scuffing or flaws.
