NOTE:
When reassembling the bearing retainer, apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK "1342" to the
threaded parts of the bearing retainer screws.
In reassembling the transmission, attention must be given to the locations and positions of
washers and circlips. The cross sectional view given here will serve as a reference for correctly
mounting the gears, washers and circlips.
COUNTERSHAFT
Mounting 2nd drive gear
Press-fit 2nd drive gear onto the counter shaft.
Before reassembling, coat the internal face of
the 2nd drive gear with THREAD LOCK SUPER
"1303B and install it so that the length "
shown in Fig.
