DC power supply replacement
Installing the 8004DC and 8005DC power supply
Install the DC power supply to the DC input power source of the Ethernet Routing Switch
8800/8600.
Use the following procedure to install the DC power supply.

Before working on this equipment, be aware of proper safety practices and the hazards
involved with electrical circuits. Use only power cords that have a grounding path. Ensure
the switch is properly grounded before powering on the unit.
Prerequisites
If you install a power supply in the 8010co chassis with bezel model 312096-A installed, you
must remove the bottom front bezel.
For instructions, see Avaya Ethernet Routing Switch 8800/8600 Installation — DC Power
Supply, NN46205-307.
Procedure steps
Important:
If you replaced bezel 312096-A with the modified bezel model 321325-A, you do not need
to remove the bezel.
