AC power supply replacement
Prerequisites
• If you are installing a power supply in the 8010co chassis with bezel model 312096-A
installed, you must first remove the bottom front bezel.
If you replaced bezel 312096-A with the modified bezel model 321325-A, you do not need
to remove the bezel.
• Remove the filler panel from the power bay if required. Save the power filler panel in case
you need to operate the Ethernet Routing Switch 8800/8600 chassis with a power supply
removed.
Use the following procedure to install the AC power supply. For more information about
installing the AC power supply, see the job aids following the procedure.
Procedure steps
1. Grasp the handle of the new power supply.
2. Push the power supply firmly into the bay.
3. Tighten the retaining screws until the power supply is seated firmly.
4. Connect the power cord to the power supply and to an AC power outlet that is on
