Fan Tray and Cooling Module cleaning

Perform the procedure in this section to clean the 8003-R chassis fans and ensure optimum
system cooling.
Caution:
Risk of equipment damage
Avaya recommends that you power down the chassis before you clean fans and vents. If
you operate the system for more than five minutes without a operational fan tray, equipment
damage can occur.
Procedure steps
1. Loosen the two retaining screws that fasten the fan tray to the chassis.
