12. UV filter

12.1 UV filter replacement

To replace the UV filter you have to remove the lamp cover and lamp house first.
Necessary tools
2,5 mm Allen key.
How to replace the UV filter?
1. Turn out the 4 screws (3 when rounded type).

2. Take off the metal frame.

3. Take out the UV glass from its holder.
4. Place a new UV glass in the holder with the black mark at one of the borders towards the cold mirror.
Note: Do not touch the glass with your fingers.
5. Put the frame back and fasten the screws. Do not fasten to hard, because the glass might break.
6. Reinsert the lamp, see "Installation of the lamp house", page 91 and install the lamp cover, see "Installation of the lamp cover",
page 82.
