1.- INTRODUCTION
Every pump is checked in our factory before deli-
vering it, so it is able to work correctly after the
electrical and hydraulic connections have been
made, following the instructions of this manual.
At the reception of the pump:
(1) Check the nameplate ratings. It is spe-cially
important to check the nominal voltage of the
pump. Also check the head value, the capa-city,
pump speed as well as the motor full load
current.
(2) Check if any damage occurred during trans-
portation, or if there is removed screw or nut.
(3) Verify if all the requested accessories, spare
and optional parts have been supplied.
We recommend that you keep this manual in a
safe place for future reference.
2.- SAFETY
This installation and service manual contains
basic instructions which must be taken into
account undertaking the installation, operation
and maintenance of the pump.
Danger warning:

The operator / installer should read all the sec-
tions of this manual before installing and starting
up the pump. It is advisable to keep this manual
in the location in which the pump is going to ope-
rate.
Take into account all country standards in force
relating to safety and preventive measures desig-
ned for personal protection, in addition to all
safety instructions referred to. The omission of
this safety instructions may cause personal injury
and damage to the pump.
