The new PCU has front cover [A] and rear cover [B]. If you want to attach the old development unit to a
new PCU, you must remove the rear cover from the new PCU first.
1. If you install a new PCU only, set SP 3902-xxx to "1".
• Black: 3902-009
• Cyan: 3902-010
• Magenta: 3902-011
• Yellow: 3902-012
• If you do this, then the machine will reset the PM counter for the PCU automatically, after you
turn the power on again.
2. If you install a new development unit only, set SP 3902-xxx to "1".
• Black: 3902-001
• Cyan: 3902-002
• Magenta: 3902-003
• Yellow: 3902-004
• If you do this, then the machine will reset the PM counter for the development
• unit automatically, after you turn the power on again.
3. Turn the machine power off.
