Installation Guide
1. Set the heat pump operating mode to "OFF" in the control computer menu INFORMATION -> OPERAT. HEAT PUMP
2. Mix water and anti-freeze in the correct proportions in an external container (D). Note that each pack must be well mixed.
3. DHP-H, DHP-L, DHP-C Opti, check that the freezing point of the mixture is reached using a refractometer, -17±2°C
4. DHP-A, check that the freezing point of the mixture is reached using a refractometer, -32±1°C
5. Fill the system with the mixture using an external pump (E) which can bleed the brine pipes. Connect the pressure side of the pump
to the filler connection at valve (B).
6. DHP-A, open the defroster shunt in the control computer menu SERVICE -> MANUAL TEST -> SHUNT DEFR, set the value to - (mi-
nus). Wait 2 min then remove the shunt motor from shunt valve.
7. Close valve (C).
8. Open valves (B) and (80).
9. Connect a transparent hose to valve (A) that opens out into the external container (D).
10. Open valve (A).
11. Start the external pump (E) and fill the brine pipes.
12. Start the internal brine pump manually in the control computer menu SERVICE -> MANUAL TEST -> BRINEPUMP, set the value to
100 (1 at constant speed circulation pump).
13. Run the internal brine pump and the external pump (E) in series until fluid, clear of air, comes out of the return hose from the valve
(A).
14. DHP-H, DHP-L, DHP-C Opti, open the safety valve (100) on bleed and expansion tank (111) and fill it up to 2/3. Close the safety valve.
15. DHP-A, bleed the expansion vessel through the bleed screw until fluid appears. Bleed also the outdoor unit using the bleed screws
(1) on the connection pipes. The side covers of the outdoor unit must be removed to access the bleed screws.
16. Stop the brine pump in the control computer menu SERVICE -> MANUAL TEST -> BRINEPUMP, set the value to 0, at the same time
leave the external pump running.
17. Open valve (C) with the external pump running to eliminate the air between the valves (A) and (B).
18. Check the system for leakage.
19. Close valve (A) and pressurise the system using the external pump.

20. Close valve (B).
21. Stop the external pump (E) and disconnect the filling equipment.
22. For DHP-A; Open the defroster shunt in the control computer menu SERVICE -> MANUAL TEST -> SHUNT DEFR, set the value to -
