ECM Removal and Installation
Removal
1) Remove the battery (–) lead wire. Refer to "Battery
Removal and Installation in Section 1J (Page 1J-
12)".
2) Remove the headlight assembly. Refer to "Headlight
Removal and Installation in Section 9B (Page 9B-2)".
3) Disconnect the ECM coupler (1) and remove the
ECM (2).

Installation
Install the ECM in the reverse order of removal.
CKP Sensor Inspection
Refer to "DTC "C12" (P0335): CKP Sensor Circuit
Malfunction in Section 1A (Page 1A-23)".
CKP Sensor Removal and Installation
Removal
1) Remove the generator cover. Refer to "Generator
Removal and Installation in Section 1J (Page 1J-5)".
2) Remove the generator starter (1), CKP sensor (2),
bracket (3) and grommet (4) along with generator
starter.

Installation
Install the CKP sensor in the reverse order of removal.
Refer to "Generator Removal and Installation in Section
1J (Page 1J-5)".

Engine Electrical Devices:
IAP Sensor Inspection
Refer to "DTC "C17" (P1750-H/L): IAP Sensor Circuit
Malfunction in Section 1A (Page 1A-40)".
IAP Sensor Removal and Installation
Removal
1) Remove the fuel tank cover and front fender. Refer
to "Exterior Parts Removal and Installation in Section
9D (Page 9D-4)".
2) Remove the fuel tank lower cover. Refer to "Fuel
Tank Removal and Installation in Section 1G
(Page 1G-9)".
3) Disconnect the IAP sensor coupler (1).
4) Remove the plate (2) and IAP sensor (3).
Installation
Install the IAP sensor in the reverse order of removal.
Pay attention to the following points:
Install the new O-ring (1).
CAUTION
!
Replace the O-ring with a new one.
TP Sensor Inspection
Refer to "DTC "C14" (P0120-H/L): TP Sensor Circuit
Malfunction in Section 1A (Page 1A-26)".
