Function Key Settings

Specific functions can be memorized to the function keys on the scanner.
Function key settings are made in the Function Key assign dialog box.

Select from the pull-down menu the key to register a function to.
Assign
You can assign the following four functions to the function keys.
Single
For details of these functions and their defaults, refer to the

[Manual Thickness Adjustment]
Adjusts the paper thickness manually.
[Imprinter]
Selects whether or not to use the imprinter when the optional
imprinter is installed.
[Fixed Thickness Mode]
Sets the paper thickness to a fixed value.
[Double Feed Detection]
Automatically detects double feed. "Double feed" is detected
when two or more sheets of the document are fed together or
when part of one sheet overlaps another sheet.
Settings
You can also register the scanner settings in addition to the
Assignment
Assign Single Function described above.
[Restore Settings]
Selecting this function registers to the function keys the scanner
settings that are set when the [Set] button is clicked.
