About save formats

Scanned images can be saved to files in one of the TIFF, BMP, JPEG or JBIG file
formats.
The available file save format varies according to the Scanning Mode setting
during actual scanning.
The following table shows the file formats supported by Scanning Utility 5000.
Scanning Mode
Black and White, Black and White-ED
Gray scale 2-bit, 4-bit
Gray scale 8-bit
Color
Specify the file format in the Save As dialog box.
Select the file format at Save as type.
