Scanning Utility 5000
This section describes how to install Scanning Utility 5000 and the installation
procedure.

Before You Begin

Check the following items before you begin to install Scanning Utility 5000.
Make sure that the OS of the computer on which you are going to install
Scanning Utility 5000 is either Microsoft Windows
®
Windows NT 4.0 Workstation/Windows 2000 Professional.
Connection with your computer
For details on how to connect the scanner, refer to the separate DR-5020/
5080C Instructions.
Setup CD-ROM
The setup CD-ROM comprises the following layers.
Before you install Scanning Utility 5000, be sure to read "Readme.txt".
After you have installed Scanning Utility 5000, store the setup CD-ROM in a
safe place.
