Dropout Color Settings (supported on DR-5080C only)

Disables scanning of specific colors (drops out) red, blue or green areas in
documents.
Set up dropout in the Dropout Settings dialog box.

• Dropout is valid when the [scan mode] is set to [Black and White], [Black and White
ED] or [Grayscale].
MEMO
• Lines sometimes appear at the boundary of the dropout inhibit section on the
scanned image when the inhibit section is set.

Description
Click here to enable the dropout function.
[Red Drop]
Disables scanning of red parts of the document.
[Green Drop]
Disables scanning of green parts of the document.
[Blue Drop]
Disables scanning of blue parts of the document.
You can specify the range in which dropout is inhibited. Specify
the start position on the left side and the end position on the
right side. Specify each of these positions as a distance in mm
from the top edge of the paper.
Description
Enables the settings and closes the dialog box.
Cancels any settings you have changed and closes the dialog
box.
