Chapter 2 Scanning a Document

Scanning in the Auto mode

Set the feed mode to the Auto mode and then scan the document.

Carry out the operation described in "Selecting the Feed Mode"
and select "Auto".
Auto on the operation panel lights.

Either select [File] - [Scan batch to file], or click
The Save As dialog box appears.

Decide on the name of the file to scan the image under, file type
(file format) and where to save the file, and click [Save].
The Start Scanning dialog appears.
Before you decide on the file name and type (file format) and where it is to be
saved, thoroughly read "About save formats" (P.28).
