User Defined and Fixed Ring Tones

The IP5000 phone support 14 ring tones that are assigned to the phone (default ring type), lines
and Phone Book entries. Of these, four (4) are stored PCM tones and an additional five (5)
tones are stored in memory as *.wav files. Note Ring type 1 is used in conjunction with the
cadences to establish the audible ring for a call.
The remaining five (5) Ring Types can be downloaded using an RTTTL text formatted file. An
RTTTL file can be downloaded from a number of Web sites including www.csoft.co.uk/ringtones
or constructed using RTTTL to generate a text file, which is downloaded to the phone. With
RTTTL, a melody is constructed by building musical notes. Each melody is named, and
multiple musical notes and commands, which consist of duration, scale and beat, are defined.
The IP Phone plays the melody in a loop, replaying the melody until the call is answered or
abandoned.
The text representation of a tone is
<name> <sep> [<default>] <sep> <note-command> delimiter
