Operating the Analyzer With Covers Removed
CAUTION
Do not operate the analyzer with the outer cover removed for more than 30 minutes, as this
could cause the analyzer to overheat which could result in costly damage.
Protect Against Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
This is important. If not properly protected against, electrostatic discharge can seriously damage your
analyzer, resulting in costly repair.
CAUTION
To reduce the chance of electrostatic discharge, follow all of the recommendations outlined
in
"Electrostatic Discharge Protection" on page
Assembly Replacement Sequence
After identifying the problem requiring an assembly to be replaced, follow these steps:
Step 1. Order a replacement assembly. Refer to
Step 2. Replace the faulty assembly and determine what adjustments are necessary. Refer to
"Repair and Replacement Procedures."
Step 3. Perform the necessary adjustments. Refer to
Step 4. Perform the necessary performance tests. Refer to
