About this document

The purpose of this manual is to introduce the LinkCom 5 PrintServer, and help the
user setting up the PrintServer to receive host print data from different host
systems and deliver PCL or PostScript or matrix data (Epson or IBM Proprinter) to a
network or USB printer.
The user is expected to be knowledgeable in how to setup host systems to deliver
data to printers and how to initiate print jobs from the specific host system.
This user guide also contains tips and best practices on the host system side for
various host systems.
