Printer templates
Special printer features like stapling, stacking, addressing special input trays and
output bins etc. can be addressed and utilised. It is recommended to import a
Printer template file matching the selected output printer. Printer template files,
contain definitions that enables the usage of the above mentioned features. It also
ensures that trays are mapped correctly.
Printer template files comes preinstalled with PrintGuide. If a template file for your
specific printer model is not available try to use a template file designed for the
main printer model. If no compatible Printer template file is available MPI TECH
support may be able to create a usable template file.
Printer template files are applied to LinkCom 5 PrintServers from PrintGuide.
Highlight the LinkCom 5 print server
Go to menu "Print Server"
"Update Configuration". (see Printer Definition Files in 2.1 Terms and definitions).

Internal LinkCom 5 web server
The LinkCom 5 features a built-in web server intended for presenting basic setup
and status.
While it is highly recommended to use PrintGuide for configuring LinkCom 5 some
settings can be managed using the internal web server.
7.10.1 Accessing the internal web server
The LinkCom 5 internal web server can be accessed in 2 ways:
Highlighting the device in PrintGuide, right click and select "Open in Web
Browser", or
Type the IP address or hostname of the LinkCom 5 in your web browser.
The default page contains the summery information of the LinkCom PrintServer
including MAC Address and current firmware version.
