Available with PostScript output and IBM IP40 emulation (requires a separate
license).
Print Offsets
Is used to adjust the output on the page. Print Offsets will move the entire printed
image on the page. Valid range is -999 to 999 using in units of 1/300 inch. I.e. a
value of 300 will create and offset of 1 inch or approximately. 2.54 cm. Decimals
are not allowed.
Offsets are always calculated using a portrait page, even if the print is landscape.
Examples:
AFP Tray Mapping
Is by default set to 'Auto Configuration'. The available trays are automatically
imported from the trays defined in the Physical Printer definitions. Trays may be re-
mapped by disabling the 'Auto Configuration' and click on the tray name and select
the required tray from the list. Only the tray type can be remapped.
End to end control
When checked it causes the PrintServer to receive information from the output
printer about the exact number of printed sheets. This information is sent back to
the host system according to host setup.
Edge to Edge Support
When checked it will inform the host that the output printer supports edge to edge
print (even if the printer is not actually capable of this).
When used with Postscript print, the PrintServer will (if needed) scale down the
print to ensure print data is within the allowed printable area.
When used with PCL print data that is outside the allowed printable area might be
printed outside the actual paper. So use this option with consideration.
Report margins to system
When ticked it will use the margins according to the printer definition, and report
information about the allowed printable areal inside the margins back to the host.
If the option is unchecked, the host will be get the measures of the printable area
of the emulated IBM printer.
