Updating firmware

MPI Tech releases updates containing error corrections and/or feature updates for
LinkCom 5 PrintServers. Firmware updates are available to customers with valid
maintenance.
11.1

How to update firmware

Firmware from MPI Tech has a numbering sequence that aligns firmware with the
right PrintServer product. Firmware for the LinkCom 5 PrintServer uses the naming
convention: 652xxx.b80.
Firmware is updated using PrintGuide, and by applying the received firmware file to
the hardware PrintServer.

Updating firmware with PrintGuide

Open PrintGuide, and in PrintGuide highlight the PrintServer you want to firmware
update.
Go to menu "PrintServer", "Update Firmware" and browse to the location of your
