Configuration of host systems
The host system must be setup to allow printing via the LinkCom 5 PrintServer. The
actual setup depends on the host system. If in doubt, please consult the host
system manual. Please note that the host system sees the LinkCom 5 PrintServer
as a printer.

Setup in mainframe TCP/IP environment
The descriptions in the sections below relate to the different print options from IBM
Mainframe / System z-series.

PSF/MVS AFP/IPDS printing
This section provides you with the PSF Start-up Procedures
Once these parameters have been configured, and the basic installation of the
LinkCom 5 PrintServer has been completed, direct AFP / IPDS from PSF / MVS is
possible.
Requirements:
PSF/MVS version 2.2.0 with PTF level UW21345 or higher
TCP/IP ver. 2, Rel. 1 or higher
Interlink TCP/Access Ver.3.1 or higher

Using IP address 192.0.110.21 and port number 5001.
The IP address of the LinkCom 5 PrintServer should be programmed in the IP-
address (IPADDR='192.0.110.21'). The port number (PORTNO=5001) is the default
port number of the IPDS port in print server.
