1. No terminators are needed in SSA configurations.
2. You do not need to set device-address switches or jumpers in SSA configurations.

If you encounter any problems with the adapter during installation or after you install it,
refer to:
1. The IBM Advanced SerialRAID/X Adapter: User's Guide and Maintenance
Information manual, which is provided on the CD-ROM.
2. Your system unit documentation for information about running diagnostics or other
problem determination procedures.
Configuring Your System
You must update your system configuration after you install the IBM Advanced
SerialRAID/X Adapter, as described in "Chapter 4. Installing the Device Driver Software
and Microcode" on page 11.
